Default 1992 Mustang 2.3L Not Starting?

I've been trying to figure out why this thing won't start.

So far I know that:

Fuel pump and pressure is good
EEC has power (it's the EEC-IV puter)
Control module has power (black box mounted on the pass side shock tower)
Coil packs have power
DIS Module has power

the bad:
No Fuel Injector Pulse
No Spark

The story:

The car ran good but it had an intermittent problem. It would run fine then run like crap for no reason. Engine would barely run good enough to switch into 2nd gear. Then it would run great again???

Also the tach just jumped up and stopped at 4,000 rpm and it stayed there. Never came back down. Had a few codes referring back to the DIS module, so that got switched. Before switching it, I checked for codes and there was none. The car ran fine while checking codes, started everytime.

After switching the DIS module, It won't start. Just cranks. I started searching around and came up with the information above. Tried to put the old module back in but it still won't start.

Was thinking maybe the crankshaft position sensor went bad or the EEC??

I'm inclined to agree on the crank position sensor.

Maybe 20PSI, new computer, new 3" VAM, and some porting will make it faster

Thanks guys. I just wanted another opinion before I tore into it. According to the haynes manual, it will be bit of a job.

It says that the sensor is inside with the timing belt and you have to pull off the crank pulley, then line up some keyways to get in there???

Not really sure on this one.....

Has anyone done this before??

ok so this sucks...

I swapped out the crank position sensor and it still won't start. Also checked the integrated relay control module and all the relays seem to be turning on in there.

Any ideas???
