Default 1993 2.3 Mustang Need help with T5 swap

If anybody could give me a detailed description of the wiring involved with the swap, it would be greatly appreciated. It's my DD and I only have a couple days to complete the swap. I want to be 100% sure of what I'm doing so things can go as smoothly as possible.

Yeah, that's what I've been going by so far. The only topic mentioned is that of the backup lights.

other than the clutch interlock, that's all there is, and they're both in the same plug on the original harness.

Here's your wiring info according to my '91. You'll find these on the plug that comes from the inside of the trans tunnel.

Red + White - tie together. (neutral safety switch)

Purple/org stripe + Black w/ purple stripe = reverse lights. attach to reverse light switch on side of trans.

Sweet thank you. How about as far as the pedal assembly?

The pedal assembly is in just about every write up ever written on this project.

While the write up I've been going by does mention the neutral saftey switch, I still have two plugs on the other side which aren't mentioned (or maybe they are and I'm just blind.)

Also I've tried looking for other sources but I still can't seem to find an answer that I understand.

Let me see if I can remember this well enough to explain it.

There are two switches that I remember on the clutch pedal mechanism. One was the starter interlock switch and the other was used to disengage the cruise control if you pushed the clutch in.

All of the articles I read mentioned that the plugs were capped with jumpers. They weren't real specific beyond that. What I did was find the jumpered plugs in the harness near the switches and then remove one jumper at a time until I found one that would keep the car from starting. When I found the right one, I plugged it into the switch on the pedal assembly. This will only work if you have already taken care of the wiring underneath the car or haven't removed the automatic and the wiring is still connected to the trans.

Remember to keep the car in neutral (or in park if the automatic is still in place.)

I wish I could be more help, but its been a couple of years since I did mine. I do remember that it took me about 9 hrs to do the trans swap. I did the pedals the weekend before the trans swap. So between the two, figure a full weekend.

Maybe I'll go read a couple of those articles and see if it jogs my memory.

That is just about EXACTLY what I was looking for. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you. Yeah, I also took the two weekend approach. I've had the pedals in for quite some time but I have been afraid to go any further. I am one step closer now. Thank you again.

Any additional information is welcomed.

I'm hoping to track down the parts to do this before my auto completely kicks. If Im going to be driving a car that feels like its being shifted by a 15 year old girl, I'd like to be doing it myself.
