Default 2.3L knocking noise
Okay, I noticed it for the first time after I changed the timing belt. The tensioner was wore out and making a bunch of noise so I didn't notice it before. I'm 100% sure it's not the valves or exaust. Asked my dad and to him it sounds like a bad lifter. I can only hear it at idle. If it is a bad lifter, is it doing any harm to the engine? The engine only has 84,000 miles on it. Any help would be great.

It could just be lifter noise. My car does the same thing

The sad thing is, with 15 PSI, straight back exhaust, and a bobs log, it still feels slow...

Maybe 20PSI, new computer, new 3" VAM, and some porting will make it faster
