Question 1989 Mustang 2.3 Stuck Valve Lash Adjuster

Help..
I have a 1989 Mustang with a 2.3 litre and have replaced the head gasket and have a bad valve lash adjuster. I have followed instructions on how to remove the rocker arms... might not be the right word .. and have them all marked and ready to go back on in the right order. The problem is that I cant get the darn valve lash adjusters out. Like an idiot I have broken two off in the head and I dont want to break any more. If anyone can help me figure out how to get them out I would greatly appreciate it. I have the new ones ready to go in and am going nuts trying to figure this out.

Thank you!
