the other day it wouldnt start until i stepped on the gas than it eventually started now it wont start at all, i am not sure what it is, it is a acting like its not getting fuel

has any body checked the fuel pump? my 89 did the same thing you had to mash the peddle to get it to start.would be sluggish on the take off then sped up.

If you feel like its not getting any fuel, check your plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor to see if they need replacement. Also could be fuel pump and filter which I belive the filter is behind your right rear tire next the the gas tank.

it could be the fuel filter, which is actually right in the middle of the car, in front of the tank.. that is an easy, and cheap fix
