any idea on what might be needed to replace...im thinking the catalytic converters....im going to replace the 02 sensor and i was thinking the vapor canister and the egr valve..im going to do the pcv valve when i get a chance also but idk what else it could be and i dont want to spend 150 dollars just to have a place look at it...

You may have some serious carbon build-up. You can try a can of seafoam both in the crankcase and the gas tank or a bottle of that Techron fuel system cleaner.
