my fuel pump was bad in my 2.3, so i just finished putting a new one in. Then when i turned it over it won't pump at all and i know that there is fuel going to it. Any suggestions??

assuming your car is carbed (not the turbo 2.3).

do you mean the fuel pump won't push fuel to the carb or no fuel comes out of the carb when you hit the gas??

if won't push, do you have suction at the pump (tank side)??

it wont push fuel to the carb and has no suction at the tank side

i'd pull it back out and compare the rocker arm (part that rides on the cam eccentric) with the old one and make sure they are the same length and angle.

if above is good, make sure the timing belt isn't broken and the auxillary shaft is spinning. pop the distributor cap off and crank the engine. make sure the rotor spins.
