ive noticed with my 1990 mustang that even if my tires are on snow sometimes my passenger tire is the only one to slip and the drivers side just kinda whines or hums sometimes sounds pretty bad, any ideas on what i could do to fix this problem? is to change it out the only option? what could I get a LSD out of? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Open diff. The wheel with no traction gets all the power, wheel with traction doesn't move...

A LSD out of a ranger or areo star will work, but you need to take it out, re-shim, build, install, etc

so then this is normal? even the sound?

The sound I think is from your transmission, not sure though, could also be the power steering pump.

If your worried, put it on jack stands and turn one wheel, the other tire should turn the other way
