This used to happen to me also, it was a wire that was messed up. It was some wire having to do with the alternater. It was located under the starter solenoid after i replaced the whole in line fuse setup (not just the fuse) the problem went away. The weird thing was that they fuse didn't actually break so it would start up again like you said.
