Yeah older Fords. Like T-buckets. Personally if I want the power I would go with a 460. But I think a 302 is just right. Bolt in and your done. These Fox Platform cars are pretty much universal with almost any Ford engine. Just my take.
Hey Im A Loyal Mustang Person And It Drives Me Nuts Seeing A Chevy Engine In A Ford. Theres Got To Be A Law To Keep People From Doing It. Ford + Ford Engine = 100% Ford/ Ford + Chevy Engine = 100% Wrong. If I Ever Get Another Mustang And Find A Chevy Engine In It That Engine Is Going To Be Pulled Out Of The Car And Smash The Heck Out Of The Engine.

call me nostalgic and loyal but I feel a lot of the novelty of having performance engines in vehicles comes from at least having those performance engines match the makers of the vehicle. Sure its still cool to see hot engines regardless of their make, but in my opinion you lose some value by mismatching and bastardizing a vehicle. IMHO
