Well honestly even only 400 rwhp would satisfy me. Maybe i should start upgrading something else first then throw a supercharger in...oh i dont know anymore, i got till spring anyways so i'll have plenty of time to decide
you can probably get pretty close NA to 400 with a out having to worry about blowing your motor and get a better track time with the same money spent
The ones i put the --- next to, i wont need.. I have an automatic GT..
So then i take it, that a forged block, will be the thing that saves me from blowing it up.. I will plan on U/L Control arms.. and gears.. i planned for the gears at the same time as the blower.. never thought of LT's w/ midpipe.. is it necessary??
TCI makes a kick A ratchet shifter that looks clean. Not sure how well it looks but it looks good and would probably help as well. I would def get a torque converter then.
Also Your motor has to put all that power some where and a restrictive exhaust is not good. The only reason why I am finally upgrading after a year is because of money. I blew my suspension money and my exhaust money building my new blower.

So does that mean i HAVE to get LT's? or can i just do a midpipe and be fine??

I would add fuel system upgrade depending on how much boost you want to run.
And also, that last statement is so true. I have seen to many times people show up with alot of horsepower, 12-18 psi superchargers, etc, then try to run on a street tire with stock suspension. They are disappointed every time.
that was me
11.9 though with no suspension and a set of bad slicks. I took my buddys MT DOT Slicks that DID not hook and bent my fenders lol because they did not fit right to the track, but I was happy to hit an 11.9 with a roll out of the start. I think I could of hit an 11.4 with slicks that actually fit under my car. With suspension I should hit a 11.3 with the way the car sits.
At least I hope hahah but my goal is 10.5 with a stick... That is going to be hard as hell to do but im only 23 so I have years to do and experience to gain.

ha ha your probably right, i'm a noob so i wouldn't know, but i can only imagine its addicting....want more power!!!
yeah trust me for me my 545 is not even CLOSE to enough. I wont stop until I have 1,000 wheel. I will need a new block for that which wont come any time soon but it will happen in 2 years or so.
what is the reason why you do not want LT's they are a bad A mod to get. You dont have to get them but they will give you 20+ rwhp
I dont know, everytime ive seen either a friend or a professional shop install Header(s) on anycar, they end up leaking and being a PITA.. i just didnt want to have to deal with it.. plus install is a PITA also.. but other than that- probably price.. im trying to get the most bang for my buck at my age, yah kno?
My original goal was, get the Kenne bell and 3.73 gears at the same time.. then save up money to build the motor, so i can not blow it up and turn up the boost.. and then i planned on buying a midpipe, and doing full roush suspension.. then getting Upper/Lower Control arms.. Stall converter.. and yeah.. this is going to take a few years i assume.. its taken me a long while to save what i have so far for my blower/gears..
Also, everyone says 445+rwhp is dangerous zone for the stock motor.. is that because of the boost? If i went more hp while remaining N/A in the mean time.. like got headers, midpipe, all that happy stuff, n then get the blower.. wont that push it beyond its limit of the claimed 445 area??
ive heard the more free flowing exhaust, it actually loses boost.. ?

I do not think you can reach that much power NA unless you rebuild your motor with HIGH compression but that wouldnt be worth it.
LT headers are a PAIN but look at it this way your pulling your motor out to build it. Your headers are coming off any ways they will charge you a flat fee to build and install every thing or by the hour. Installing LT's does not take more time then installing the stock manifolds. They have to take them off any ways so you pretty much get a free install if you want to look at it this way.
Just make sure you change your gaskets and you should not have leaks and get a good header. Kook's, Stainless Works, or JBA come to mind. The cheaper ones will leak. Make sure they are stainless steal as well.
I would do your mods but in reverse take your money for your KB and build up your car. It will out perform any 450rwhp car with just a bolt on blower and you should spend around the same amount of money or maybe less. Then just start putting away money for the blower and by next year you will be putting down 650rwhp.
Patients is the HARDEST part of buying mods but its the biggest thing to have a successful car.
ooo and the rods it self cant handle that much power its not about boost the bigget thing is keeping your car on the street and not the garage.
O and trust me no matter what it will be a head ache lol
it was either 121-122 i cant remember exact but it was like . some thing
122mph is easily good for an 11.30. I ran some 11.30's at 119-120 a while back. I think your car has a 11.1X in it if you can figure out how to 60' in the 1.5X's with your combination.

Yeah I need more practice. I don't think I will see the 11's though by the time I get back my car should have close to 700 rwhp and completely finished.
I am still thinking though of a 3sd auto or the Tremec 6060? I cant decide If I want to sacrifice my new clutch and flywheel for an auto and spend the money twice, but if i get the auto with some good weight reductions I will have a consistent car running mid to low 10's
