2006 Mustang GT making the ride more comfortable any suggestions?
Hello new here and hope I am doing this correctly. I would like some help on making my 2006 Mustang GT more comfortable driving down my bumpy roads it has a stock suspension any suggestions?

The stock springs are about as soft as you'll find. However, a set of adjustable struts/shocks will probably help as you will be able to soften up the dampening.

Would adjustable d spec tokico shock and struts work? I did buy a Eibach springs pro kit only to find out this would make it stiffer and feel the bumps even more is this true?

The Pro Kit springs have a higher rate, so yes you will get a rougher ride with the stock dampers. The D-specs will allow you to soften that somewhat. I can tell you from experience with mine, the ride is stiffer with the Eibachs, but the handling seems much improved. I have a set of D-Specs on order, and look forward to installing them this winter. My car probably won't see the road again until March or April. I'm sure others who have the Tokico set up will chime in. By the way, welcome to the forum.

You can definitely set the ride softer than stock with the D-Spec's. The nice thing about taking that approach is that you can stiffen it back up when you're not on bumpy roads.

Thank you for the input and the welcome.I here you need a camber kit , panhard bar and brace,g brace ,heavy strut mounts and who knows what next. I am not sure about doing all of this and if it is worth it.

So softer ride and not as hard on my back and neck sounds good, the eiback pro kit would then not be a good thing for ride comfort?

You will need adjustable strut mounts or camber bolts. You may or may not need an adjustable panhard. Some have needed it, some not. It's my opinion that the springs improve the stance, looks, and handling. I suppose it just depends on what you want out of your car.

Another thing to consider besides the suspension mods as far as handling goes are tires. While the Pirelli's that came stock on mine weren't bad, the BFG's I put on made a good improvement in the handling also. That's the problem with modding your car. Just when you think you've made it better, there is always a way to make it better yet. Try to decide on a goal as to what you want out of your car that will suffice your needs. Otherwise, the mod bug can consume you. There is no rehab for that.

If your primary goal is a more comfortable ride, all you need are Tokico D-specs. If you don't lower the car you do not need an adjustable Panhard bar, camber adjusters, control arms, or any of the other stuff you mentioned.
