Well a week has gone by with no relavent indications of damage other than running a 13.36 last night at SA raceway. Seems to me these cars are built FORD tough.
congrats... just keep this 'event' in mind... something will remind you down the road... and you'll think, 'dam... outta no where!' lol. Or, at least that's what happens to me!

I was just wondering if any one else has had this happen.Last night while racing an old Chevelle, when shifting from 3rd to 4th for some reason it goes into 2nd gear doing almost 85-95 mph. When I letting out the clutch the rear tires chirpped like if i hit the e-brake and I pushed in the clutch and went to 4th gear.I know the engine reved to probablly red line approx?Does anyone think I caused any damage or messed something up? p.s. I still beat that chevelle.
Buddy did that accidently in his 00 GT.... Valve smacked the piston and he scratched the cam shaft, but who knows, you might have dodged the bullet on that one
Recommend dumping the junk stocker asap. I've had the hurst which is slightly better, but I went with the Steeda Triax afterwards and it is night and day compared to the Hurst. I believe its the most indestructable thing on my car at the moment, and the quietest.
I'm thinking about it. For another 1k I could do a roll bar instead, and add the intake later. I want to run in the NMRA SST class, so I will need a bar. The intake can be easily added later.

You could do the C&L intake if it ever hits the streets.
Hey STL, the C&L intake has hit the street for 799.99 check their website....let me know whatya'll think, I'm guessing with long tubes and other small mods the intake will net between 22-30 topend rwhp
Your bad luck. Now I'm going to be down for another year. lol
lmao, im not bad luck, nelson jr. is bad luck, i have never had a problem with my car (other then my thermostat housing) since i stopped taking it to him and do everything myself and have jon tune everything i mod
