I am going to try to take my car to JBA and have them do a Dino-Tunning to get the most out of my car with the few mod's that I made. That's essentially what they told me at JBA that no big difference could occur if I changed the spark plugs.
I appreaciate your answer...
Thanks
If you go with a 60,000 volt COP you can gain a few HP but nothing just from plugs alone.
I wouldn't buy those until I've seen them with my own eyes. Since the S197 came out I've seen so many web sites saying they have plugs for the S197 when they did not. Our cars have 'high thread' or HT spark plugs, they are a new design for the S197s. No other car (outside of Ford) in the world uses these new type of plugs, at least that I know of.
$17 for one! If these really are HT plugs then OUCH!!

i know that at work. we have had issues with do-it-yourselfer's tuning up their own vehicle with the wrong stuff. Just the other day I had a kid tune his chevy s-10 up with autolite plugs and wires and the truck ran like crap. Firing order was right, tune up was done right, just used the wrong stuff. We put in the OEM replacements regardless of the situation.

just saw this thread on the one piece plugs- very cool, hopefully one less thing to worry about- heard of 1500.00 labor to change plugs out on even low mileage cars that the junk OEM ones snapped off in, even when using the TSB recommended removal.
Just ordered a set from summit- wish me luck this weekend...sounds stupid dont it- to be worried about removing a stupid set of spark plugs, guess the two piece projected tip wasnt one of fords best ideas- but not as bad as the plug blowing 2v 5.4 - there ought to be a class action lawsuit on that mess.
