Does anyone know of a stronger 5 speed man. for a 2005 gt, I know there's a 6 speed conversion kit. I would really love to keep it a 5 speed.

how much power do you have. because I am pushing around 550 right now and still have the stock tranny and rear end. I will be pushing all most 650rwhp next week and still plan on keeping the stock tranny. It has showed no real issues with it.

Not to be rude but unless you are grinding gears and powershifting wrong it should hold up. Just upgrade the Clutch and Shifter and dont miss gears. Maybe see if you can upgrade your shaft to a 26 spline but the stock one seems pretty nice.

I have 60,000 + on the car its out of warranty and I,m getting sounds like grinding from the transmission when I leave it in 1st, 2nd or 3rd and come to a stop without engaging the clutch. I'm thinking bearings on the input shaft.

ok i didnt read that it was out of warranty in your PM. well the five speed market really is not there thats the thing. Every one seems to be running the Tremec 6060 up upgrades.

A TKO500 should work with a custom bellhousing call MMR they have some beefed up ones but they take a while to get stuff but its all quality so go get your self on the waiting list if you have the money.
