Default custom mid muffler for 05 gt

I have decided to do a custom mid muffler system on my 05 gt i will be using small 2 chamber flowmasters that are no larger in hight than the 2.5 inch factory pipes. i have herard the pypes system and i tink it is just alitle to raspy so i figured i would try the same type of system but using flowmasters. I guess my question is has any one on here tried this and if so did they like the final result? thanks for any inputs.

I've had resonators welded to the over-axle pipes before. I didn't personally like the sound too much; wasn't loud enough. But that was with Magnaflows though. May sound better with SLP's or something like that.

It isn't too much trouble but make sure whoever welds them does a good job. Mine caused one exhaust tip to stick out further than the other because of where they cut. Not good.

I had straight pipes welded in place of the stock mufflers and added Dynomax Bullets right after the H-pipe. Nice deep tone and plenty of sound. They fit perfect with no loss of ground clearance.

my guy has a understanding that i will not pay for it if it does not look perfect from the rear. I have these same muffleres on the NA cobras and it sounded nice. i know the 4v sound alot diferent than the 3v but i am willing to take that chance besieds this will be fully fabricated system so if i dont like it ia can alway remove it and put it back the way it is now which is just JBA axel back. thoes are not to loud to start with so i figured i would try this. that and i just want to try something different. i have heard most of the bolt on kits and they are all ether to quiet like the JBA tha i have now or to loud like the boomb tubes. that and i am trying to get as close to the sound of the 60s as i can with the OHC i also will be going with a ORH to get rid of the cats.

I went from an H pipe to an X pipe with the stock cats and didn't really like the sound of either so I ended up with stock cats and true dual exhaust and I love the sound. I don't get as much HP as the X pipe but I like the sound so much it doesn't bother me.

I also have a set of Dynomax race cans welded in the overaxle pipes.
