Default PCV Valve and MAF Removal

Can someone describe to me how to disconnect these safely? I will be mounting my CAI in the next few days (when it arrives) and these are the only 2 things that I'm worried about.

Do I just pull? twist? where? what? I'm looking at them and I'm sure its simple as hell, but the last thing I wanna do is break anything..

as you stand at your right front tire looking straight at the pcv valve, at about 5 oclock you will see a green nub sticking out of the assembly. Push it clockwise and pull the valve toward you, and it is done!

On the electrical connection slide the red tab towards the engine till it stops, then slide the plug out. Hope this helps.

Actually need to squeeze the MAF sensor and pull after you pull the red tab back

when you put the PVC back on, just push it...you will hear it click which then will be locked.
the MAF...dont forget to slide the red tab back in.

One more note on the MAF - make sure its rubber gasket does not fall off during the installation. Otherwise, there will be a vacuum leak at its mounting location, which will cause the the engine run poorly.

I didn't realize that they could come off that easy.

You're right, they normally stay put. But I did read about 1 or 2 owners who had theirs come off.
