Default Do I Need to Remove Bumper?

I have purchased the smoked-out turn signals and new headlight assembly for front of my '06. Does anyone know if I can do this without taking front bumper off?

Please help if you can. Much appreciated!!!!!

the service manual has you remove
the front bumper cover, in order to
change the headlight assembly...

i know it's a pain to remove the bumper cover,
i've done it several times....

thanks pal, im gonna give it a go tonight or this weekend i think. Seems so odd that you need to take off the bumper to get at the headlight bulbs.

thanks again

i think the manual also has you
remove the bumper cover to change
the fog light bulbs, but people
have figured out a way to get
around that.....

anyhow good luck and let us know
how it goes

yea. i would think all youd have to do is take the radiator shield off and there would be enough clearance

Turn signals can be done from the wheel well without removing the cover. But you're out of luck on the headlight buckets. Cover has to come off for them.

+1 stl, I installed my smoked corners by turning wheel all the way, removing wheel well inner lining (about 4 plastic inbody screws - becareful they break easy) took about twenty minutes to install, was super easy....dont pull the bumper - theres no need!

Turn signals- turn the wheels to one side, remove the fender liner, pop them out and put in the new ones.

Headlamp- Got to take the bumper off. I recommend jacking up the front of the car a bit.

If you're only changing the bulbs, you don't have to remove the bumper cover.

You said 'headlight assembly'. Bulbs--no.

WENT WELL!

Allow me to clarify first.....I was replacing corner amber lights and the headlight assembly and bulbs

Got the front end looking great. All in all the entire project took about 3 hours but i was taking my time and double and triple checking things.....couple of interuptions too so that ate up time.

Installed the headlight buckets and they look beautiful. Now i just have to line them up. HAHAHA-----i goofed once though. forgot to re-connect the fogs and noticed that when i put the car back in the garage. thats sucked. All in all it looks great though and im gonna post before and after pics tonight
