I am getting a CAI and tune very shortly for my 08. I gave them the processor code that was on my ECM. I'm not sure if the dealer flashed the computer before I drove it off the lot. I want to be able to check that I have the right code for the SCT programmer by checking the strategy code before I load the tune in. Does anyone know what the Strategy Code would be for Processor Code RYA1?It's an 08 GT with a manual transmission. Thanks

Yes, I am aware I can use the SCT to check the strategy code but I want to make sure that the dealer didn't update the ECM and now the codes don't match when I do the tune thus causing the engine not to start. If I am not making any sense please tell me. I want to match the stratedy code with the ECM code.

Unless you know for sure that the PCM hasn't been flashed by Ford, the only way to check the strategy is to hook it up to the Xcal (which I'm guessing you don't have yet?)

Yes, You're correct! I don't have it yet so I will be patient and wait till it arrives. Thanks guys

You'll know for sure if they flashed it if the car doesn't start.
