Default FYI: downloadable engine building & performance calculations software

For those who may be involved in engine building or simply want to "play" with various engine parameters to see what effect they may have on engine performance (e.g., +/- HP generated by various changes or required injector sizing for various types of engine and HP of that engine), the following link will direct you to a site where the softeware can be downloaded for free:

http://www.virtualengine2000.com/VirtualEngineCalculatorTour.htm

Covers 15 of the most common engine building and performance calculations

  • Displacement
  • Compression Ratio
  • Compression Height
  • Gearing, MPH
  • Piston Speed
  • Horsepower
  • RPM
  • Intake CFM
  • Injector Sizing
  • Loan Payments
  • Unit Conversions
  • ET and MPH
