It must be something new. You can stop at a dealer and they can do it for you.

i already bought the tool. and yes i did go to the dealership. they wouldnt sell me the tool. they want 2 hours labor to program my sensors. the service manager was so confused about the sensors it made me very nervous. so a $20 tool from steeda seemed a little more cost effective than 2 hours of ford labor. so back to the original question.....does anyone know how to use the tool?

hey i found out it does work. i just used the tool to program my new sensors. (i kept the old sensors on the orig rims) just keep in mind your programming these sensors so i suggest checking and leveling your tire pressure BEFORE doing this. you need to put the car in programming mode. to do this: turn your ingnition key from the off position to the run position three times ending in the run position. step on the brake once. the horn should beep once and a message comes up saying PROGRAMMING MODE on the odometer. then it will say program LF. take the programming fob to the left front tire 180 degrees from the valve stem, where the sensor is located inside the rim. press the green button on the fob. the red light will illuminate and the horn will beep. then the odometer will say program RF. do the same to the right front tire 180 degrees from the valve stem press the button on the programming fob. the horn will toot again do the right rear and the left rear using the same sequence. it only took me like a minute.

Default Thanks "Pure Breed"

I ordered one of these buttons and thought I got ripped off. It wouldn't even open my garage door! Thanks to your post, the thing worked like a charm. Now I don't need to see "Tire Presure Monitor Fault" every time I start up my machine. Thanks again.....
