Default Are rear end girdles worth it?

Are rear end girdles worth it? I am not going for looks but functionality.

Well I only know what is in the write up .I just bought mine, and it came today. It is suppose to protect the bearings better. I know it is a heck of a lot thicker than the stocker.

If you're not doing any kind of racing then no but if your going to race it in any form then yes. It supports the bearings and holds a little bit more oil.

Absolutley, I know it saved my rear end many-many-many times over

just make sure you get one that has BOTH fill and drain plugs on it, like the one from T/A, makes life so-much easier

on rear end girdles, especially ones like LPW, which provide more clearance which in turn allows you to run other functional aftermarket pieces.

+1 make sure you get one that will clear your Panhard bar. Especially if you have an aftermarket one! There are some that won't clear and require a relocation bracket like the one BMR makes.

The LPW Racing cover provides excellent bearing endcap support. They're really a must for a track car.
