I'm Planning on getting a C&L CAI soon and was wondering about the Trufiber hood. is a good quality product and will the ram air work with my CAI or will i need to do some custom work? any info would help. thank you

I have a Cervini hood. It required very little fitting.

I have heard a lot of stories about the tru-fiber hoods requiring a lot of work to get fitted properly.

I would imagine the ram air would still work with the CAI since it's directing air over the stock air box location. However, if you don't opt for the ram air piece under the hood you'll have two open ports to your engine bay. Makes for a lot of engine cleaning, trust me!

Does any one else make a good KR style hood with the vents. ive been researchign and i keep hearing about hood flutter at high speeds cuz of too much pressure under the hood so i def want the vents evne though im getting Hood pins

Water management may also be a problem with an open cone.
