Question about shorty antenna and sequential turn lights.
Mustang Sequential Turn Signals for 05-08
The 'plug and play' ones, do they involve any cutting? Also, the grommet that is already in the stock headlights, that just disconnects with the original lights?
What are the steps in removing the stock antenna? Also, is it possible to buy a new base for the antenna? The oval shaped black piece that sits on the car?
yea as ducky said there, the sequentials are plug and play (remove old harness install new) ive got those on mine and the shorty antenna is also very easy just takes a cresent wrench :P

Got mine through Silverhorse Racing and there were some pretty good instructions. You re-use the existing bulbs and replace the harness in the trunk with the new harness, numbered 1,2,3 for the bulbs. The hardest part is taking the inside cover off of the back of the trunk and then removing the taillight assy's. If you are any kind of mechanic at all, it shouldn't be a problem. It's no more difficult than changing out a light bulb.
Don't forget to wipe the bulbs clean of any skin oils.
I had to splice in the trailer lights since my car has a trailer hitch.

If you go to the Web Electric site they have some instructions on the plug n play sequentials. If you buy from them they mail them in a package which can be used to return your OEM harness for a $30 credit (unless their prices have gone up this would but your total cost at $119). There are antenna bases which fit over your existing base, I believe they are available in chrome and some sort of fiery decal from Moss Mustang.
I just did mine from web easy to do and 30.00 rebate still there and they sent the box that is needed to send it back
