Default 2005+ Mustang GT hydraulic clutch problems

Are their any service bulletins for the 2005 and newer GT's regarding the hydraulic clutch cylinder. Does the GT 500 share the same set up? My clutch does not always engage on the 2nd to third shift now that i have upgraded the HP with a super charger. I replaced the clutch with a spec 2+. I can actually feel/hear the hydraulic system gradual engage. If I shift it slowly it works fine but trying to speed shift not so much. Any suggestions?

No TSBs on the clutch. Verify that your brake fluid level is ok. Otherwise, it could be the slave cylinder that's failing. Did you replace the slave when you changed the clutch?

Changing the slave/throwout bearing is a must. The clutch engagement doesn't have anything to do with how fast you shift, it has to do with how fast you let off the clutch peddle. With a hydr clutch system it all depends on how fast the fluid moves out of the slave cylinder

The slave cylinder is designed to last about 80k miles. But it just makes sense to change it when everything else is apart.

The OEM slave is not much of a match to the big daddy clutches out there also. I unfortunately put my clutch in about a week before I think it's Mclouad came out with their slave cylinder. I wish I had one. As soon as my trans gets heat soaked the slave stops working very well. It's realy hard to get into 1st at lights. I have about 3K on my new OEM slave. This winter when the motor comes out it's getting some sort of uprated type of setup. I will just live with it till then.

Bleeding the system will probably help out for the short term though. When the fluid gets real hot and the seals don't work their best you will get moisture in the lines and sometimes air. That certainly doesn't help.

I didn't even know there was an aftermarket slave available.

I heard a rumor McLeod is or was in the development of one. That would be AWESOME paired up with their twin disc clutch setups. They feel like factory pedal, and have AWESOME torque ratings!

Yeah, I saw it in the "Hot new products" section or whatever they call it of either MM&FF or 5.0. I remember they are pretty damn expensive though. But what choice do we have.
