I think that a 100%+ increase of Horsepower is pretty nice to have

Default Procharger P1SC Stage II 10lb psi DYNOmite numbers: Need help understanding

Ok just had car, 2008 Mustang GT, dyno'd on a DYNOmite, correction: standard (weight, temp)
Prior to install, 207whp, 193trq (stock)
After install, 419whp, 371trq (procharger)

Shop only does standard correction, actuall whp to the ground. No inertia like other dyno's do.

Here's some pics/video. Tell me what you THINK!!!

Gonna try to make it to the track tomorrow night and see what she can do

Yea that's what I was thinking but looking at everyone elses numbers (207 stock), guess it's due to the standard correction
Anyway I am more than PLEASED and knew prior to the dyno that she was a new car. Lookin for low 12's high 11's at the track due to the heat and humidity here in Jersey

Doesn't sound plausible. I think they may have screwed around with the correction factors to show a bigger difference between before and after. The 400+ at the wheels sounds normal but the 207 seems very low. Not to mention you in theory need to make 14.7lb of boost to double your horsepower and that assumes 100% volumetric efficiency which is an impossibility. I’ll bet your car made more along the lines of 250 rwhp when pre blower.

You’re going to need a set of 4.10’s and a super sticky set of drag radials to get that sucker into the 11’s. It makes the power, that’s for sure. But tires and gearing are everything. I have only run my car once at the strip but the best I could get was a 12.50 @ 118mph. My roadrace tires and 3.55 gear were killing me. Best 60 ft I got was a 2.2 and I was either short shifting fourth right before the traps or getting into the limiter in third going through the traps.

Those before numbers do sound way off.

Seems a tad low for a P1SC at 10 lbs...maybe about 40-60 rwhp/rwtq off. Maybe it's just a conservative, safe tune and there's nothing wrong with that at all.

Getting into 11s with the above may be a stretch???

207 rwhp stock??? I find that highly suspect. Either that or you got the biggest dog off the assembly line. Worst I've seen (up until today) stock is 232 rwhp.

Shop said they did nothing different between the 2 dynos. Theres going to be a dyno day by my job in a month or 2 so I was thinking let me see what it can do there. 3 pulls $75
Ran it tonight, best run 12.9, 103mph, 4300rpm, 1.9 60'
Temp 84, humid
NO TRACTION AT ALL after 2nd. Have MT Streets, need a line lock so I can properly smoke both tires. Only passenger smokin, drivers side spins yet not hard enough.
Yea thinking gears, 3:73, for next mod

Man, that MPH seems way low. May I suggest you find another shop to get a couple rund made at? It just doesn't sound right. A second opinion may be in order.

Your car is a auto right? Why do you need a line lock? I'm serious, I have never been in a s197 auto. Will the rear brakes prevent it from spinning up?

Sounds like it's time to re-pack that Trac Loc too. I keep forgeting how long my stock one lasted (not long) before it started to slip a lot. And that was all from exiting corners. You will be a happy camper when you can forget about the one wheel peel and do you thing.

And remember, no matter how much it costs.......it's still fun

I took the car to a factory parking lot after changing the tires and took off, both tires left a patch till I let up around 50'
Figured with a line lock there will be no pressure on the rear tires. I'll look into repackin the trac lock first. THANKS!!!
Tires spin from 2nd thru 3rd, figured that was the mph issue

It didn't help, that's for sure. I'll give you some numbers to work with though. When I took my car to the track I managed to get it too hook up decent in 1st once and when I went to grab 2nd got greedy and grenaded the tires. My wife who was in the bleachers said they even smoked a little. I only lost 3mph off of my other runs.

It may have hurt you a little more with an auto and no gear though. You were probably spinning for a while. Your gear spacing is not exactly ideal for a Procharger either. You could probably pick up a full second with some traction and a gear.

If you are not looking to spend a bundle on a diff try looking for a Motorsport repack kit with the carbon clutches. I used one a Loooooong time ago in a V8 4x4 Ranger (don't ask, it was stupid) and it worked great. I was effectively out of money and a ARB Airlocker was not in the cards. I was very surprised how well the new clutches worked.

Yes it was a 8.8

Feels like I'm doin a burnout when it hits 2nd, hits it hard. Sorry all out of bundles due to what I spent on the procharger, driveshaft, guages, and install. Only had 4 runs today so I need some more time to play and see what gear I'm finishing in. I know it creats 9 to 10lbs by 6k rpms, shifts and drops to 4200 rpms (2nd). Have 3:31 gears now so I don't think I'm reaching my peak up tp the line in 4th
