Default Any ideas? Steeda or C&L Street CAI?

Has anyone experimented with C&L and Steeda CAI kits? Wich one is better? Does any one has dyno numbers on the Steeda CAI? I'm thinking to replace the C&L street kit I have now for the Steeda CAI. What do you guys think.. Any help or opinoins will be appreciated. Thanks

Both are excellent power-makers. I ran the C&L for about a year and was very happy. The Steeda supposedly can make even greater numbers but costs a lot more.

Most CAI's will do the job and produce similar numbers. Do you have a tuner? That will bring out the most of your CAI.

That is really the case. All of the high-end CAIs are very good and produce similar results.

I have the C&L street and I was happy with it until I bought the delete plates from Steeda and then I tried to purchase a tune for the Plates from Dough at Bamachips, but the tune did't work and gave me a buch of codes. Dough cound't fix the problem and refunded me the money for the tune. Now the car is running good with the Steeda tune that the Predator have for CMCV plates. But I'm runing a C&L. So I was thinking the since the CAI and tune are different the Air fuel ratio has to be off. So that's why I want to replace my C&L for the Steeda CAI to match the tune I'm running right now. Amazingly the car is running strong eventhough the tune and the CAI are not ment for each other. What do you guys think?...

What I think is that tunes and CAIs are a lot like men and women: sometimes they really like each other and it's a marriage made in heaven. Other times they don't and life can be ...well...HELL

Tuning without seeing the exact car in front of you is sometimes a crapshoot. They're similar but not exact.
