Kevin  | You can unscrew the hood bumpers (black thingy next to the hood pin), put some grease on your finger and stick the nut on your finger and ease it through the bumper hole and under the hood pin. If you put a lock washer on with the nut it should hold well enough for you to get it tightened, Just don't forget to set the hood pin depth with the top nut before tightening the bottom nut or it'll be a bear to adjust later.
