Talking They are finally done... this batch of mod's are done and on the car... pics inside!

Here it is guys,

I have finally gotten the all the parts and the wheels put on the car after having the stuff sit around for a while.

I got the ford racing lowering springs, bmr adjustable panhard bar, gt500 strut mounts, eibach camber bolts and 20" motorsport bullitt wheels. Still waiting to be put on is the cai i bought (gotta get the tuner still). Next up for suspension mods is the ford racing shocks/struts or adjustable tokico's, ford racing sway bars, adjustable uca, lca's and ford racing strut brace.

Following are a bunch of pics of the parts and some before and after shots after lowering.

It won't hurt anything. It'll just look a little silly until you get that bar installed.

oh okay cool.... the bar is installed btw.... but when it was put on it was adjusted to a neutral setting and when i put the stock wheels on it was fine... but when i put the 20's on the wheel was sticking out too much, so i just gotta go back under there and re-adjust it. but thanks.

Looks good. How's the ride differ with the springs and 20's?

Drop a plumbob from the center/edge of each wheel and measure the distance to each wheel center cap. That'll give you a good measurement of how far you're off..

to be honest... i was very very worried about this myself.... i would say, if you suppose the stock ride heigh and wheels = 100% ride quality.... with the lowering and the 20's ride quality=85-90%.... most of the time you cant tell.... but if you get a road with small continuous bumps then you can tell. Keep in mind i still have the stock shocks/struts.... from what i have read and heard... if you put some tokico adjustables or something similar like ford racing ones... the ride quality goes back to just like stock. IMO there is not a big difference as I was expecting it to be... so im very happy in that regards. In terms of suspension... the car behaves alot better in corners and doesnt nose dive so much on braking... and panhard bar has seemed to give some extra stiffness to the back end too. And the wider tires definitely hold to the ground better in fast corners for sure... only thing i have noticed about the wider tires is they like to follow the road contours more.

you wouldn't regret it if you lowered and put big wheels on imo.

Very nice! The car looks awesome. Just wondering what wheels those are and if they come in other sizes then 20's. Or do you really like the 20's? I was thinking of going with 18's because everybody says the 20's will be to heavy!?!

If you race, 20s are the wrong size..

personally i really like the 20's.... but like STL said 20" wheels are for show not go... if your racing then you would want to prolly get a lightweight 18" wheel. ... the wheels are called motorsport bullitt and yes they do come in 18".

like the man said.... 20's are no-no for racing... get a lightweight 18" for racing.
