First question you will not have to tune it but it will throw a code because of the cats being gone i had a o/r h on mine and drove it a few weeks with no tune it will be fine.

driving it with the X pipe is totally fine. I towed both my vehicles when i supercharged them though. It wouldnt be so great for the engine.

I would not drive it at all with a whipple. An centrifugal is fine just cause its easy to stay out of the boost.

i actually broke in my motor with the stock tune and supercharger installed. It sucked cause i had to drive it SLOW but you just cant not get into the boost.

Perhaps if you just pull off your S/C belt you wont spool and just drive it around like that. Sense you wont build boost you wont have to pay for a tow truck.

As for the pipe im not sure which but your AFR will change slightly and a tune is not required but its good to get.

With whipples, if u dont have a dyno tune, don't you at least before turning it on, send the PCM to Whipple so they can load their tune on it?

(1) Yes you can drive it. Please, do yourself a favor and only drive part throttle, and don't go wide open.

(2) You can start it up. Check all your pressures... however, don't drive it. Not even part throttle. Tow it to the dyno shop.

like i said might. I run a Procharger when I ripped my belt off my blower my car still ran it just did not create boost at all. it was like the blower was not even installed. Like it was just acting as an intake.

the way it sits i dont see why air could not travel through the screws with out them turning at all. Sure it wont be good to get at WOT but you might be able to drive it around the corner with out having to tow it.

The only thing i see happening is you wont make boost. I also tore a belt off of my truck and the S/C would not spool. It still drove just would not make boost. and with out the S/C making boost the AFR will still be off from what is stock but should still be safe enough to drive

It's a twin screw, you can't just pop the belt off and run the car. Even if the car cranked, it couldn't idle or part throttle. If the lobes in the charger don't turn, not enough air can get into the motor. Even if it had enough to idle or part throttle, the fuel trims would be WAY off, and it could be detrimental to the motor.
