Default Tire pressure sensor question

I have an '07 GT with stock 17" tires. My tire pressure warning light came on and I reinflated (and checked) all my tires to the door panel suggestion, but the tire pressure indicator light won't go away.

Anything I can do to remove the warning?

Have you driven the car since you aired up the tires? if not take it for a ride and it should rest it self

How low was the pressure in the tires when the light came on? if it was close to specs on all 4 then you might have a bad sensor

I just had to replace a Zero nero on my 08..( think I have a hater to deal with..) but the pressure sensors on the 08 I would think the 07 as well on the stock 17" rims are bands that are around the rim itself. As soon as my tire went low on air pressure the light came on. As soon as I put more air in to the tire and started the motor back up the light went out. Sorry man but it sounds like your going to need a new sensor band. Also what "RESET" are you guys talking about? I don't have any reset buttons on my dash.

With the info center dash option hitting the reset button when the message pops up should reset temporarily, even if it comes back to remind you. Without the info center option the thing should reset itself when cleared. I think one sensor may be bad. Have you had tires installed? Rubber monkeys are hell on those sensors. They are supposed to start the tire on the wheel opposite the sensor, but half the time they lay the bead right on it and crush it.

Most tire stores have a machine that can reset the system, the same scanner can also tell you if a sensor is bad (or broke ) Most of the shops around here at least will do this for you at no charge
