Default Help Picking Motor Mods

Does anyone have any links to any information/articles abut adding the following to a 3v 4.6 supercharged motor? Preferably separately but if it is a combination it is still worth looking at.
  • Cams
  • Ported heads
  • Log tubes
I’m ordering my shotblock next week and when I pull the motor down I was thinking of doing one of the above. I was already planning on new high quality valves, a quick clean up of the heads with a sanding roll, 3 angle valve job and beehive sprigs with Ti retainers. Obviously a full blown port job is a lot bigger. I don’t want to do everything because I don’t want to spend all that money and I am going to have no problems reaching my HP goals. I could probably reach my HP goals with none of the above (600rwhp on pump gas and daily driver manners). I’m guessing a set of cams would help the most but I am not sure. I certainly don’t want very radical cams. As much as I like a little lope to the idle I want this car to be very sedate (except for the power of course). I am under the impression that any mod made will net me a gain about double of what you would get with a NA motor (running 14+psi of course). I’m pretty sure this would hold true for the heads and cams but maybe not quite so much with LT headers.

Thanks for your help.

I'd skip the cams and go with the long tubes.
