i ended up going to SEARS and getting the smallest of the 3 Craftsman Microtork (#44593) for $69 bux.

I will let you guys know how the install went.

I wouldn't but it's entirely up to you. The real advantage with the delete plates is the torque you pick up. "TQ wins races while HP takes the credit."

To me? No, it doesn't make sense. The $150 could be better spent elsewhere.

Thanks for the info, both sizes tell you about 10RWHP and yet one is $150 more pointless.

The funny thing is, most of the guys that recomended i get the "economy" plates went with "Billet" plates.

I think its all in our heads, sure the ports bieng 0.070 larger will prolly not help very much but it makes you feel like you are getting the most outa the mod, whats another $150 when your knee deep in MOD money spent.

Im tellin myself that the Billet is polished so the air will travel more effeciently over it's surfaces, so its almost like getting Ported/Polished "Delete Plates"

The larger ports will only really help if you're FI.
