Octane booster is bad stuff. The only thing I would consider to boost octane would be xylene or Torco race fuel.

Well it is fixed , Not the WMS Cai, Went with JLT. Thank you Chris and the guys at Tillman. big thumbs up. There were too many issue to resolve with the WMS . Hopefully Chris will post the results soon. Anyone who needs a tune or other mods go to tillman

Either they have been lucky or haven't had the same problem,,,Yet. . I haven't talked to Chris since last week.

It may be that they got lucky. Our situation is complex when it comes to workin on the car. My son is in the Navy and 200 miles away from my location so when it comes to doing things it is tight on time. The thing that bothers me is it might just be this intake, when I got the mix up taken care of (shipped me a 95mm instead of 80mm) when I recieved the new one and took it out of the package there were alum. chips and cutting fluid (I am a machinist so I know what I am talking about) in the alum, intake housing so it might just be a quality issue with this particular one , but our situation doesn't allow to much screwin around time especially since he was in Phila. for christmas and he had only a week to take care of it. I will be calling WMS after the New year to see what is or could be goin on. I might just keep it and buy it from him. I should be getting my car within the next couple of months .

Were they the stock motorcraft plugs?

Yes they were stock plugs, One thing I did find out was Ford change the plugs mid production in 08 something about breaking plugs off. It took an eatra day just to get the right ones. Chris Rose ended up getting them, I believe he went with stock again. I will be seeing the car this weekend so I will beable to check it out.
