I called into livernois today and talked to mark in there and i asked him about porting my heads and a set of cams and see said i would be better off just going f/i and get one of there super chargers he said to port the heads and cams and everything all in together it would be 6-7k and i was liek wow.. He said he cold do a supercharger for about 5500 so anyone have any ideas of what would be better just for street play?

That is a bit pricey, especially since it's your heads. I'd do the supercharger..

Ya i think that is a pretty good deal that includes install and all. He said i shoudl be around 420 rwhp so i think that would make me very happy.

I hit 421 with every bolton, heads, cams and a built 298 stroker engine. 420 would be a real stretch on a low compression motor..

Ya thats why i dont no what to do i just may throw a set of cams and L/T's and just be done lol
but i'd like to be right around 400 before i slow down on mods.

400 N/A hp cost me over $20K..

It's best to know where you want to go and what budget you have and go from there. Saves a lot of money down the road...

That price is insane just for heads and cams. I've seen their CNC/port job on their website and it looks really good but they also claim 100+ HP gain just from heads. I'm callin BS on that.

Agree... There's no way that heads and cams alone are going to yield 420 rwhp..

Have any of you guys heard anything about Blow By Racing in flordia someone told em to give them a call and i did they gave me some really resanable prices on heads and cams. I was just wondering what anyone thought about them?
