I wouldn't get too worked up by the color. The stuff that's in there is a combination of oil, dirt, gas, and water. Now if you had a head gasket issue and had antifreeze in there, that would be a big problem.

Hey two scoops and Stl. How hard was it to install an oil separator? I have a few write ups but i want an honest opinion. I have a new UPR oil separator sitting in my room right now awaiting install.

Two scoops, what did you use for your clamps? It came with hose but no clamps.....

It's not hard... The biggest issue is getting all the fittings. I just cut the fittings off my OEM tube and resused them.

If the catch can is stuck and can't be removed, would it be okay to try and WD-40 the top of the container to see if it will budge?

Thats what i was going to try at first. The unit it really nice and shiny even though i got the Satin one and it has a large holding bottle. I am going to start playing around and seeing how it fits. I just need to be able to feel my hands while i do it

I am not sure about this one. But i can't see how a little WD-40 could possibly hurt anything.

A wise man once said "All you need is WD-40 and Duct tape. If it moves and shouldn't, DUCT IT. It it doesn't move and it should, WD-40 IT."

STOP.........STOP.........STOP.......Do Not RUN your Mustang until you perform a leak down test. Whats going on is the oil is mixing with the windshield washer fluid and causing a Yellow effect on number two (2) Cly. which in turn is causing a yellow "tent" to appear in the oil seperator cup. If this goes un checked your fog lights will not work along with the A/C.

PS: Just messing with you.............Merry X-MAS

I went to the hardware store and bought 4 quick connects today for a buck a piece. I know myself well enough to know there is a chance i might break the stock ones pulling them off and i wanted to have them all uniformed and neat anyway. Its got the same kind of clamp that the air tube uses to connect to the throttle body.

Hopefully it warms up over the weekend and i can install this sucker
