I was thinking of installing one in a Roush vent pod like I did with my boost gauge.

no it just plugs right in, nothing interesting about it

installed mine between vents with an angle ring

I had duals at one time, then sold them to lostsoul and bought a single. You can see the idiot lights flash at the end of this vid.
