I cant believe that the only box that looks "good" in the trunk is about a thousand bucks with the single 12" speaker (JL AUDIO) or just the box from MTX is $300. any ideas or specs for a 12" kicker to build our own? or do we have to go with only 1, 12" sub not 2? very disappointing so far. please help guys. ill repost any ideas i come up with. ill probably have to build my own over a weekend. about as much time as a supercharger but not as satisfying

rockford has i single 12" that fits where the shaker 1000 subs would and it has a built in amp. and it hookes into the shaker 500 wiring and its around 450 looks like a nice setup i think im gonna get it they say its 500watts also there is a mtx one thats loaded to here look

o i know i got 4 visonik d2 twelves and a amp. thats 6200 watts rms
and 12400 peak i want to throw in my car bad but lets face it weight and speed dont mix so i dont want all that weight in my car so that is why im gonna go with one of the rockford kits cause it looks factory and will add more bass and wont weigh down the back of my car

My goal was solid bass without losing any trunk space. We are not completely done but you can see where I am going . There are covers for everything so when not in show trim it will look stock.
