Which oil pump for new motor I found this oil pump from Ford Racing Parts and am wondering if it will cause any problems with the variable valve time since it uses oil pressure. This oil pump, according to the website, increases oil flow by 20 percent.
Ford Racing Performance Parts [M-6600-E46]
This pump will go into a new forged short block. I am going with new valve springs in the cylinder heads, so I can take the REV limiter up on the new block to about 7250. Should I go with this one or just use a stock oil pump.

The stock pump should be fine.

Go with the stock pump will work just fine. If you have any question call FRPP or Livernois.

I wouldn't recommend MMR to someone I DIDN'T like, much less anyone else.
The stock pump is the way to go. Way too many people have had way too many problems with other pumps. If you are going high horsepower then get billet gears for it.

Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing. But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
This IntelliTXT stuff sucks.

Nice Kiss, but it is just from the others that have reported having problems.
