Default fuel injectors for 2006 Mustang GT

i was wondering if it would benefit me to step up to 24Lb injectors im running a all bolt on N/A motor, if you could tell me how much power i would be looking at or if its even worth it, it would be great.

If I'm not mistaken the 05 and up come from the factory with 24lb injectors already. You wont need to step up to a bigger injector unless you do more like ported heads, headers, cams, etc.

+1 on above, also you won't pick up any HP with injector swap only.

yep they come with 24's but here somethings to think about.

The cheapest thing to do if you want to make sure you have more fuel using your stock injectors is to get the gt40 pumps they cost $200 for two or $108 EA VS well over $300 for new injectors. With every bolt on not including heads you can get about 400 RWHP this is an approx but I will have the dyno sheet soon to prove it. I say without heads becuase with heads and stage 3 cams you should see over 400RWHP if not find a different person to tune your car.

Even with 400RWHP you really shouldn't see a drop in fuel pressure but you can also jump ahead for possible future mods that may take up fuel.

The GT500 fuel system is better than installing two GT40 pumps and a heck of a lot easier.

ooo thanks guys for your posts i never knew it came stock with 24 cause i saw them on american muscle thinking it was an upgrade. no the car hasnt been dyno tuned only because i find a shop close to me that has a dyno.

He forgot to add $500 dollars more!

There is no need for a $700 fuel system on a N/A Car unless you have that thing so stroked and crazed it's not street legal or close to it, If you need a GT500 fuel pump then you would basically be saying you have so much power you would also need new injectors because there is no need to get a pump that flows more than your injectors can handle.

Bad advice on the GT500 fuel pump and a waste of money.

Stay simple get a tune and get the items that fit your current needs if you have all the money to waste have fun, but dont waste money, trust me you'll need it later, there are always more mods to be bought and time to install them.

Good luck with your choice.

I upgraded my fuel system to the GT500 fuel pumps when I added the supercharger, the GT40 pumps would have been nearly maxed out whereas the GT500 pumps are only at 65% duty cycle.

If your going to upgrade fuel systems do it right the first time.
