Sure makes it easier to rotate when you keep them on the same side; all you have to do is put your jack stands under one side of the car at a time.

oh wow i think i just confused us both.. you are right with directionals staying on the same side.. im not sure what i was thinking when i typed that, sorry

If they have an arrow on them showing rotation direction then you are correct.

thanks for any and all feedback.
Ford oil and filters works as good as you need it too. Oil is not nearly as important as you think it is. I can't uderstand why so many people that don't understand what an oils job is spend so much time freaking out about it.

I ran my last F-150 with the OEM oil that came with the truck for 52,000 miles, half of them towing 8,000lbs at 80mph. I added 1.5 quarts the whole time I had it and the motor ran just as good the day I turned it in as when I picked it up.

The F-150 has almost the exact same motor as the Mustang.

Don't worry about your oil, it won't make a difference. Just run the Ford stuff and change it when you are supposed to. Your motor will not know either way.

Here's a website with people that are anal about oil,,,, and filters Bob Is The Oil Guy - Powered by Motor Oil

They even use Used Oil Analysis to determine which air filters are junk,,,,,,, K&N tops the list.
