I just got a zex wet nitrous kit. What else will i need, i know i need a purger, bottle warmer, and im also gonna get a window switch. Planning on running 75 shot at first. How hard is it to install my self. Thanks for the help
I plan on getting a 93 octane tune from brenspeed. Shes put away now for winter so just getting everthing i need so at the end of Febuary put all the mods in at one
+1 on the remote opener. If you do a 75shot, you don't have to worry about a tune. I would still get one stage colder plugs. When i installed mine on my 95GT and 05 GT, it was cake. took my time to make it look nice and everything. probably a few hrs to do it.
Any higher shot, i would def get a tune for it. I had a handheld for my 05 and with a 100 shot i took some timing out of the mid and top end and bumped the WOT fuel to 4% and then dyno'd and the AF was a high 11 so it was good to go.

A purge kit is not necessary, but a bottle warmer usually is. A for a window switch, the zex kit can be programmed for wide open throttle only. I use the autolite plugs, one stage colder. The install is pretty easy, but take your time and do it right.No special skills or tools needed really,as long as you are somewhat mechanically inclined. Honestly, i would not bother with the 75 shot.Just go with the 125 shot and definetly a dynotune.

FYI. ZEX has a window swith that can be used with their kit. It's true that ZEX works with the WOT but the window switch can be set up so that the nitrous does not activate in first gear if you so choose. Also, the window switch can be set up so that the nitrous does not come on until a specific RPM and then can be set up to turn off at a specific RPM.
What size gap for the HTO's are you guys running on the 125 shot ? It's also a daily driver so I want a starting gap that is safe for nitrous/non-nitrous. Guess I'll have to buy the special spark plug gapper....seems like every part you install you need a special tool for

I had the shop i bought them from and tune it gap them for me and i can't remember for sure. Haven't fouled one out yet though and i run both tunes alot.I will find out for you .

Yes, i know they have one but it is just not necessary,unless you have a stick.With an auto, you want it hitting from the start as your nitrous tune will have the timing retarded and is not to agressive off the line.Personal preferance i guess
