Default 2003 cobra svt superchager in a 2006 mustang GT?

is it possiable to put a 2003 svt cobra supercharger on my 2006 mustang GT?

Some one asked the same thing I think last year and It's not practical. The manifold is for a 4V head. I think there is someone that can make a special manifold to adapt the older S/C. As for the snout aligning up for the belt, I'm not sure.

There will be others jumping in with info.

It's possible but would take a boatload of fabrication on the manifold. Probably end up costing as much as one built for your car.

well, how about a cobra heads + manifold + supercharger.. I think if you can get a deal on them it'd worth it. but then that will make it a cobra engine, am I right ?

I don't see how that would be any cheaper though.

Don't believe the heads will work with the 05+ piston's either. Something about clearance and cut of the piston.

Anyway, In the end you'll still end up putting a weak Eaton on your motor and have spent enough money you could have bought a Kenne Bell.

i saw this 03 svt super charger for $700, but i'm pretty sure he was just selling it without anything else. like the heads or manifold.

So, all in all it would be faster and more cost effective to just get a KB or Whipple or even the new Edelbrock blower.

Yes our PCM will control a 4 valve motor......at least it will control the 5.4 Shelby 4 valve. That's what I'm using and in some ways it works better then some of the GT500 computers. I don't have any of the throttle hang issues some of the heavily modded Shelby's run into.
