Cleaning the MAF sensor would also be a good idea.

The only mods on the car is Flowmaster Axle-back exhaust and a K&N filter, which the filter was not on the car when these symptoms started.

I called Ford Customer Care and I'm waiting for a call back.

I suppose the MAF could have a little oil on it from the filter..

2nd, Anyone with automatics experiencing hesitation between 40 - 60 mph especially when cruising consistently and then hit the gas only to have the car droan and get very little acceleration and very little RPM gain? Feels like a dead spot......I can tell in the exhaust note as well....poor power.[/quote]

Did you ever get this fixed? I have exact same problem
