Does this B&M shifter handle unscrew???

Attached is a picture of a B&M shifter handle. I took the boot off and it says B&M stamped on both sides of the shifter. I tried to unscrew the handle but it does not move. Does this handle unscrew???

it looks like it does.. i had a hard time with my stock shifter knob.. what i did was got a pair of channel locks and a hand towel wrapped the metal shifter with the towel and gripped it with the channel locks and used my free hand to unscrew my knob they put teflon tape to make it super tight. it took me a little bit to get it off but i got it off.
