SCT x3 Updating Software and Loading Tunes. Need help!
okay here goes nothing, got sct3 and jlt cai combo from am, bought race tune from doug at bamachips, recieved the tune in the email, downloaded the software program, it wont let me update firmware, says connect livewire, but it is connected, and it wont let me live load files, still says connect livewire,
dougs in texas til monday, i called them and some random dude thasts been working there for only a month did everything in his power to help me out, but we cant figure it out and SCT of course isnt responding live internet help or phone. greattt.
so heres where i depend on you AFMSSSSS
hook it up and help me out, id pay for someone to do this, idc, longisland ny, levittown, need help PLEASEEE! =(
As you go to plug in the SCT press and hold the Cancel button. It will then go into the firm ware mode. It will then walk you through the update.

From what I've been told you don't want to load the firm ware! there's a ton of threads on this. do a search and you'll find your answers I think it was under something like "sct x3 e-tune not loading" cant exactly remember. good luck
