Cool, thanks. Which version of the WE's? They seem to sell 2 different ones... A set of $120 ones and $150 ones. I think the more expensive are the Ford OEM's they changed.
And do they sequence when braking? Thanks!
And thanks for the other responses, guys!
Here's what I've purchased.
You say you'd rather have OEM harnesses? Then select the STS-1MPW Harnesses which are made from genuine Ford Mustang harnesses. We take OEM cores, wire in the sequential electronics and test them for proper operation. For the 2005+ cars, choose the correct harnesses for cars built before or after November, 2005.
You can send in your OEM harness and get a small rebate. They send you a box to ship it in, etc....
Yes, the blink in succession during braking too.
The guy that makes these in a certified electrician and does this on the side. I assure you, if you ever get a harness that doesn't work or fails on ya, call him, he supplies you with Customer Service Info and he'll make them right. His business relies on reputation and good CS.
I bought the plug and play ones from american muscle. I haven't had any problems. The sequentials will be standard equipped on the 2010 stangs from what I have read. You may want to take a look at your wiring.

2008 Mustang GT Premium Coupe, Silver Clearcoat Metallic, 255/35ZR20 Roush rims and tires, Roush quarter panel windows, sequential tail lights, upper and lower billet grills and Airaid CAI - It's Paid For!
My Web Electric set just shot craps on one side. Less than a year old so I have to see if they will fix it. Cost $150. I'm not sure any of these transistorized things are reliable. The original Ford sequencers were motorized contacts and relays. They die with rust but not from eating themselves.

Wow... Raised from the dead!

And I'm glad. I never knew this thread existed until now!
I also had a problem with the Stack Racing sequentials. I installed them on a Saturday afternoon at my uncle's shop and they worked fine. Drove the car home that night, showed my dad, brother, and fiance, and they still worked fine. I didn't drive the car at all on Sunday. Monday, I drove the car to work, got some of my co-workers to come out and see how cool they were, and only the passenger side was working properly. On the driver's side, only the innnermost light was blinking. I went home, put my stock harness back in, and voila! I had those wonderful things called brake lights again. American Muscle offered to exchange them, but I opted to have a refund because the thought of having another failed pair didn't sit too well with me. I haven't gotten another set of sequentials and I still have my boring old stock lights, but at least they work!

LOL! Pretty much the same thing happened to me!
I was so mad. I ended up getting the WebElectrics and I've had 0 problems for around 5 months!

Why would you not want the brake lights to sequence also? BTW, bought mine off MossMustang and no problems for over a yr.
I did want the brake lights to sequence also. It's just that they didn't. The entire passenger side failed to work, minus the innermost light. What I was trying to express was my happiness that I actually had brake lights on both sides when my OEM harness was reinstalled.
