i'm noticing things sayin i need a 2 piece drive shaft. don't all the s197's have 2 piece? also, aside from the new pedal box, tranny, bell housing, wire harnesses, new pcm, clutch, slave cylinder, n shifter, do i need anythin else? i think i have everythin outlined there.

i know my 05 was two piece and so would the 06. You might need the tranny crossmember and the interior shifter bezel boot, looks like you covered the rest.

I'm not sure if the auto mount is the same as the stick, flywheel and master cylinder and lines to the clutch and pedal. The driveshafts are 2 piece on stock mustangs. Thats all that comes to mine.

The OEM driveshaft is really a three piece driveshaft. People replace them with aftermarket aluminum shafts that are called one-piec but they are really two-piece. There are no solid driveshaft for these cars. The front yoke slips in/out driveshaft body.

I agree, I would just go with a alum. d/s. Tillmans has a few overstock Coast alum d/s that they are selling for 525. Give Chris a call.

got a message back from dan at steeda. the tr-6060 they have is to convert a regular 5 speed to 6 speed. might go for that i just gotta get the rest of the parts needed. does anyone know if i'd need a different pcm than the 5 speed?

No you don't but you need to do something. The TR6060 has a solenoid lockout for reverse. This is what a old member did.

"the ECM does not control the reverse. there is a solenoid to lockout reverse. I had it wired so i have to push the clutch AND the brake for it to allow me into reverse so as to not have any accidents"
