Default 2008 Mustang GT-Alternator Pulley Help

Has anybody installed GiJoesGT 8-rib kit on an 08 or newer? I am trying to install the 8-rib alternator pulley on my 08 GT/CS w/Whipple HO s/c and have run into BIG problem. My alternator pulley is not put on with a nut, see picture below. My shaft & pulley are splined and pulley is pressed on. Instructions say to use special Ford puller to take pulley off than put 8-rib pulley on and use included nut to tighten? Am I missing something because I can't see how to screw a nut onto a splined shaft. The Ford machanic who does all my work did some checking and said that in later production 08's they started using the spline shaft and pulley instead of using the older nut style. GiJoeGT has a great kit and I'd like to make it work but don't want to spend $$$ different alternator. Car only has 2200 miles on it. Thanks for any help...

I would call him and see if he has the newer setup.

Hi,

He just told me that there are threads in the shaft but you can't see them and I don't have any reason not to trust him. I might sound stupid but I keep looking at my shaft as pictured and don't see how their can be any threads in there but I guess we'll have to see. :-)
