Anyone had any experience with Livernois Motor Sports in Dearborn Heights, Michigan?
I recently had them quote me on the purchase & install on the new Zex Wet system for my 07 Mustang GT. $2500 includes the Zex system, installation, Dyno Tuning, New colder plugs and etc.
Also quoting on a gear swap chaning my 3.55's over to 4.10. Again, they are supplying all the parts, bearings and gears from FRPP. That was quoted at $650. This seemed a little high. Below is a copy of their email back to me. Can you guys tell me if this is competitive? Do these guys do good work and are the worth the money?

The Nitrous kit is $640, the install is $1000, the brackets are $250 the tune is $600 Total cost for the NOS system, tuned and dyno'd is $2500

The gear install includes brand new FRPP gears, all the required bearings, synthetic fluid, and the labor to install. Cost is $650.

Livernois is the sh*t when it comes to modular Stangs, IMO. However, their installations and parts are pricey. For something like a NOS installation and gears, find another shop to put it on, and then take it to them to tune it.

$650 for the gear install isn't too bad when you're getting it done at a top notch place like Livernois. I don't live too far from them and had them do my 4.10's. Never one problem in almost a years worth of driving, and it's a nice plus that they use Royal Purple. You can count on it being done right if you go there!

Gear price is pretty much spot on. The nitrous install is high unless that includes a window switch, heater, remote opener, etc.

Excuse my ignorance but what is Royal Purple?
I hear good things about these guys, I was just a little taken back by the price.

Royal Purple is just a brand name of synthetic fluids, I have ran it in all of my vehicles for about the last 10 yrs., so I think the stuff is great, but there are many opinions on that topic..... heck, if Livernois uses it in all of their stuff, it can't be too bad! The gear install price is right on, but I am curious as to why the NOS install($1,000) is so high?!?
